3.1 Telemetry Data

We may collect minimal, anonymized telemetry data to optimize performance and improve user experience. This data:

• Is completely anonymized and cannot be linked to you as an individual

• Includes only technical metrics such as app performance statistics

3.2 Chat Data

If you enable iCloud syncing:

• Your chat data is synced to your personal iCloud account

• We cannot access, read, or process your synced chats

3.4 Data Processed by Third-Party Service (TogetherAI)

If you have not downloaded a local model, your requests will be processed by TogetherAI. In such cases:

• Your prompts and inputs are sent to TogetherAI's servers

• Once you download a model, all processing occurs locally and TogetherAI is no longer used

4. Data Storage and Retention

4.1 Local Storage

• All data is processed directly on your device

• Chat data (if iCloud sync is disabled) is stored only on your device

• If you uninstall Pocket, all locally stored data is permanently deleted

4.2 iCloud Storage (Optional)

• If enabled, chat data is stored in your personal iCloud account

• Storage duration is controlled by your iCloud settings

• We have no access to or control over this data

4.3 Telemetry Data

• Anonymized telemetry data may be retained for up to 12 months for analytical purposes

• After this period, data is automatically deleted

4.4 Third-Party Storage

• When using TogetherAI, data retention is governed by TogetherAI's policies

• We recommend reviewing their privacy policy for specific retention details

• When using local models, no data is transferred outside your device

7.2 iCloud Data Transfers

• iCloud data transfers are governed by Apple's policies and safeguards

• Apple provides appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data

• All on-device processing uses your device's built-in security features

• No data transmission to our servers (zero-knowledge architecture)

• iCloud data is encrypted using Apple's encryption standards
